I recently noticed that Adobe are releasing a professional DVD Authoring program called Encore, well now Adobe seem to be expanding their A/V empire by aquiring Syntrillium's Cool Edit Pro audio editing software.

Also I recently blogged my suprise that Sonic Foundry had sold it's software assets to Sony Pictures Digital, now it seems they have sold its Entertainment Business to Deluxe Media Services, Inc. Click here for more info.
