I am just at the start of a project where for the first time I am using ColdFusion MX, I have no background in PHP or ASP other than knowing what it looks like and how it works from a designers point of view. I have managed in just over a day to create a product admin page enabling you to insert, update and delete records from the mySQL database! I admit I am using Dreamweaver MX but I understand what is going on so who cares! I did have to install mySQL, ColdFusion MX and JRun4 on my Mac at work though which took days and really caused a lot of headaches compared to the easy installation on PC!
