I just picked up on this article over at Gizmodo that reports firms are currently developing Gesture-Operable Digital Home Electronic Appliances. It seems Toshiba and Hitachi are currently leading the development at the moment but I imagine it will only be a matter of time before this kind of applicance control becomes common place.
