Just a quick note for anyone who has installed Audacity on OS X and promptly lost all audio on streaming web content and flash files, there is a quick way to fix the problem - start up GarageBand, don't ask me why but somehow this fixes the issue until you start Audactiy again. I presume this will be addressed pretty soon...
