Threadless.com is quite simply the best T-Shirt shop on the net. My first buy arrived today, Gingerbread Nightmares by Glenn Jones and the quality of the T-shirt and the prompt delivery from the US to Australia means that I am about to go on a shopping spree, especially as, until June 6 all Tees are only US$10!!!

Ok I saw it on friday and I liked it, non-stop action, plenty of lightsaber duels go see it, that is all I'm saying.

I missed the Grand Prix yesterday (it is on at funny times in this part of the world!) anyway my colleague told me about the Red Bull team dressing up in Star Wars gear so I looked for some photos. I could only find one of the geezer who fills the car up with fuel in his Darth Vader styled mask (column 1, row 4 on following link)and this one of George Lucas, Chewy and co. with David Coulthard. Apparently the rest of the pit crew were dressed as Stormtroopers! If anyone has any photos links please leave a comment I'd love to see them.

UPDATE:
Ok, I've found some more photos so I'll list them below.

I have been using the DataSet Component for the first time over the past week and I soon ran into trouble when I was trying to match up two DataSet properties using DataSet.find() so I thought I'd better write it down in case I forget next time!

First of all when using Actionscript only you must ensure as with any component that you first drag an instance of the DataSet component to the stage and delete it in order to have the component available in your library.

Next ensure you import the DataSet in your class: import mx.data.components.DataSet;

This alone will get you started but if you wish to use DataSet.find() you better read this TechNote from Macromedia. In short just by adding the following code to my class everything worked correctly:

var m:mx.data.types.Str;
var n:mx.data.types.Num;

Surely it is dangerous enough surfing a 4 metre wave at Teahupoo, Tahiti knowing that you could be smashed on the reef below and killed, but check out what local surfer Ramana Van Bastoloer had to contend with.

In World Champion, Andy Iron's words, "It missed (Ramana's) head by about six inches, it was psycho."

UPDATE: Thanks to Jonathan Moore for posting this close up shot in my comments.

OK so I'm probably not the first to point this out but I have just watched the trailer for the fan film, 'Star Wars Revelations' and I admit I was expecting something pretty crappy but I was actually quite impressed, at least with the animation and 3d modelling, the acting and film quality is not quite what you would expect in a real Star Wars film but for $20k it's a pretty impressive attempt!
