On friday my new 60Gb iPod arrived, I've never owned an iPod before but was tempted by the new black slim video playing beauty and I wasn't disapointed! I have already copied across my entire music collection from my powerbook and put the whole of The Office series 2 on there for some on the bus with Brent! The best thing about the video playback is that a 30 minute episode ripped from DVD compresses down to 170Mb at 320x240 and looks fantastic.

Just a quick note for anyone who has installed Audacity on OS X and promptly lost all audio on streaming web content and flash files, there is a quick way to fix the problem - start up GarageBand, don't ask me why but somehow this fixes the issue until you start Audactiy again. I presume this will be addressed pretty soon...

Ok I've been putting the inevitable for too long, finally I am ready for an iPod, and the new video iPod unveiled today is just the ticket!
