I opened Opera a couple of days ago to do a bit of cross browser testing, haven't used for a while so I installed the latest version and had a bit of a nose around. One of the first things I noticed was the widgets... ah yes that old chestnut! At first glance they seem the same as the ones for OS X and Yahoo Widgets except one little difference, and this is something that is going to be available to Mac Widgets in Leopard, you can make your own widget using "Widgetize" which lets you choose either a gallery or rss feed reader template using your blog rss feed or flickr feed etc. and creates a little widget for you. I didn't bother with that however as I am addicted to my SimAquarium widget which is sitting on my desktop slowly breeding more and more fish, I check every half hour or so and sell the new fish to buy bigger and better fish!... the backgrounds are great too!Jon 3:16 PM Permalink
